WHAT ARE NANO BROWS?

A semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo that creates ultra thin, hair-like strokes to make your brows like fuller and more defined, but still natural. They are done with a machine not a blade (not microblading) so they are more precise and realistic. Perfect for anyone who wants brows that look natural, not blocky or tattooed.

HOW MUCH DO NANO BROWS COST?

My Nano Brows are $549 including the initial touch up. This reflects the advanced training I've taken, the time and precision involved, and the fact that nano brows are the most natural, skin-friendly brow tattoo available today.  You're investing in a specialist result, not just a service. 

HOW IS THE SHAPE DECIDED?

I have a special process to measure your shape. I stay mostly in your natural shape so they age nicely over time. You will be shown the shape for approval before we begin tattooing. I will make any changes you request to ensure you are happy before we begin. 

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?

I block off 3 hours for the appointment. This insures we have enough time and nothing is rushed. Remember this kind of service takes time and precision. Please allow yourself enough time and come comfortable. We can always break for the rest room, water and a snack. Our studio takes pride in providing a safe and relaxing environment.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

Brows: 7-10 days for infection prevention and flaking/peeling.

Day 30 the true colour sets in.

Remember this is a open wound on your face. Please treat it as so. 

Avoid any hot environments, Jacuzzis, pools, saunas, sun exposure. Do not get area wet unless washing or showering. 

CAN I WASH MY FACE LIKE I DO REGULARLY?

NO, wash around your brows and wash brows separately as directed for 7 days.

WHAT DO I USE FOR AFTERCARE? 

Use a gentle, unscented soap for the first 7 days. I will provide you with an ointment you will only use when they feel touch and itchy. 

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

Depending on your skin, health and lifestyle your tattoo can last up to 1-3 years before needing a touch up. Touch ups are recommended to keep the tattoo fresh looking.

Here are some factors that will cause your tattoo to fade faster:

• Oily skin
• Retinol 
• Sun exposure
• Exposure to salt water

DO I NEED A TOUCHUP at 6 weeks?

Not everyone requires a  touchup. They are recommended for clients who would like to alter the shape and color of your tattoo or go bolder or fill in spots that didn't retain pigment as well as others during healing. Touchups will also add longevity to the life of your tattoo. A Touchup can be booked no sooner than 4 weeks of your last appointment. Touch ups are complimentary. Fee for Kingston clients. 

DOES IT HURT?

 It can be slightly uncomfortable but completely bearable. The tattooing process lasts about an hour.  I use an excessive amount of numbing and my technique is extremely gentle. If you are nervous about pain, you may take 1-2 Tylenol 30 minutes before your appointment. DO NOT take Advil or drink alcohol before your appointment. Advil and alcohol will cause you to bleed lots and also make you more sensitive during the procedure. 

WILL YOU TOUCH UP ANOTHER ARTISTS WORK?

Jenna does not touch up other artists work. If you are coming to Jenna with previous permanent make up then the area will need to be assessed. A Cosmetic tattoo can not just be covered up with a new tattoo or changed to a new style. There is a lot involved for a proper outcome. After Jenna assesses the area she will either recommend colour correction or removal. Extra charges will apply.
